Well, I've decided to post just so you know I'm still alive.
I still can't believe that I've been gone for this long. Six months?! Add the additional four I've been away from drawing - that's 10 months?! D8
**signs**...Well, I had my reasons. Getting over my Mom's death, working on the house, having family come stay with us, etc., etc. But somehow, I can not help but feel that even though I had my reasons for leaving, none of that could count as an excuse for my abscense. I mean, during my leave, I had tons of time to work on some drawings, and I haven't. For the last few months, I've been trying to say to myself "Hey! Time for grief is over. Time to get back to work on commissions and shit," but somehow could never get my sorry ass to do anything. It was all really depressing. T__T; There were even times where I wished I could turn back time to the day when I left and start from there. But sadly, I couldn't. What's done was done. I remember the old saying, "Don't cry over spilt milk," and that something my mom always told me.
Well, I've decided to take that advise.
I've finally started drawing again, and I've just started working on my remaining commissions! 8D See? I told you guys I wouldn't forget you! ^~ But this is going to take time. Right now, I only have a couple sketches done, and I still have 13 more to go. But, I'm getting there, so don't worry.
Anyways, I've been chating with and on Skype and they both have been real pals! **hugs them** Especially Croc. I was talking to him the other day about coming back and working on my commissions, and I was asking him if my customers would still relay on me even though I've been away this long. If I remember right, I think he said yes, and that my art was worth the long wait. I think that's what he said. I just hope he's right. I mean, I haven't receive any complains from any of my customers yet, so that's a good sign. Well, either way, the best thing for me to do now is continue with my work and get these commissions done. Once I do that, I can move on to new commissions and other projects (I hope).
Anyways, I hope I'm still worth the wait. I don't want to let anyone down. Gotta go. XD
