I know this new "Sta.sh" system for the journals is a pain in the ass. But there's hope:

For those who have found the new STA.SH journal system to be a confusing bitch, I discovered that when you go to the Sta.sh main page, your icon on the top left gives you a drop-down option box for either "Sta.sh" or "Sta.sh Writer."

Here's what you guys can do if you want to make a new journal entry with your current CSS journal, without going through bells and whistles:

1.) To make a journal with your current CSS journal script, select "Sta.sh Writer" from your icon's drop down box. Next, you'll come to the a new page, where you'll see two taps on the right, called "Files" and "Skins" - select SKINS. Next, drag you mouse over the journal skin thumbnails until you come to the thumbnail with you current CSS Journal name - select that.

2.) Now, if you're using a CSS journal that has CSS coding in the main body tag where your content goes, then once you have your current journal skin selected, copy the body coding of your CSS skin into the box on the journal skin where the content would go, and just edit the section in your coding where your journal entry's content is to be displayed.
Otherwise, such type in your new journal's content.

3.) If you want to edit your CSS journal coding in the Header, Footer, and CSS tags, the "edit skin" button is there in the SKINS tap, next to the Current Skin Name. Use that to either edit a current CSS journal, or create a new CSS journal all together and save it. To edit to extras, such Mood Icon, Listening to, Reading, etc., just click on the "Journal Extras" tag below the displayed journal skin.

4.) Also, I discover that if you don't want to handle this Sta.sh system to edit your journals, just go back to your main page, and select the JOURNAL tap, where all your recent journal entries are displayed. The "Edit Journal Entries" button is still there. You can use that, and select "edit" on a previous journal entry to go back to the old system. Otherwise, you can edit your journals on the deviation page it's on by hitting the blue EDIT button on the bottom right next to the journal.

5.) Once your journal is ready, hit "Continue" and set the "Category" tab to JOURNALS>PERSONAL. Then, select "My Journal" in the PUBLISH TO tag, and  hit SUBMIT.

I hope this info helps out.

Personally, I think the old system was way better than this. The only thing I like about this new system is that you can now display and treat journals like deviations and add them to favorites. Everything else about the system kinda sucks. I know DA just wants to make a better journal system, but they could have least gave us the option to select either "Sta.sh" or the old system when going to the "New Journal Entry" button.

Anyways, I hope this info helps everyone in editing their journals in the future.
